Most of our volunteers come from local churches, groups who also support us financially:
- Georgetown ISD – Provides building space at no cost for food storage and distribution.
- Central Texas Food Bank – Allows us to purchase food at or below retail cost.
- HEB – Provides bags for the food packs at no cost.
- Local Churches – Most of our volunteers come from our local churches. The pastors frequently designate Georgetown Backpack Buddies as the charity for their weekly offering.
- Boys and Girls Club – We partner with them to provide for students over the summer months.
- GISD Bridge Program – The participants in the program help to pack food.
